Waterproof decks that keep the space below dry
New vinyl (PVC) decking and vinyl repairs — a seamless, watertight surface that sheds rain and protects the patio, carport or room underneath. Low-maintenance and built for the coast.
Vinyl decking in Campbell River
Vinyl decking is a waterproof PVC membrane bonded over a properly sloped deck, creating one seamless, watertight surface with no gaps between boards. Campbell River Decks installs new vinyl decking and repairs or re-surfaces worn vinyl. It is the right choice when there is a patio, carport or living space below you want to keep dry, and it needs very little upkeep once it is in.

Why choose vinyl
On the coast, an upper deck over a doorway, patio or carport is only as good as its waterproofing. Vinyl gives you a single sealed surface — nothing drips through — so the space below stays usable and dry.
It wears well underfoot, resists slips, and wipes clean. The key is the prep: the right slope, clean flashing and properly sealed edges. We do that part carefully, because it is what makes vinyl last.

What is vinyl decking?
Vinyl decking is a waterproof PVC membrane bonded over a properly sloped deck surface. It creates a single watertight layer you can walk on, with no gaps between boards, so rain runs off instead of soaking through.
Does vinyl decking keep the area underneath dry?
Yes — that is its main advantage. When installed over the right slope with proper flashing and edge detailing, vinyl decking sheds water and keeps a patio, carport or living space below it dry.
Can you repair existing vinyl decking?
Yes. We patch tears, re-seal lifting seams and edges, and re-surface worn vinyl. If the membrane is past its life, we can re-deck it with new vinyl.
Can I have railings on a vinyl deck?
Yes. Railing posts are sealed into the membrane so the deck stays watertight. We fit wood, metal, or glass-panel railings to suit.
